What do the statuses mean?
Published today: the source dates its rate today, the adapter has been independently checked, and its next scheduled check is not overdue by more than 30 minutes. This is an indicative price.
Quote observed today: a remittance calculator example was checked today for the displayed amount, fees, funding and delivery method. Its observation time is not a provider publication time or a guaranteed expiry. Confirm a new quote with the provider; different amounts or methods may have different rates.
Stale: the source date is older, a scheduled check is overdue, the latest check failed, or a quote expired. Stale rates are excluded from rankings, including on weekends and holidays. Last successful check preserves the last usable quote; Last checked includes failed attempts. A daily reference is not a live or executable transfer quote.
Not verified: a rate or its source needs review. Unavailable: no usable quote is available. Quote required: fees, amount and payment method are needed to compare a remittance.
Rate updates: Rates are checked hourly, at approximately the start of each hour Philippine Time. Individual providers may update their rates at different times. Always confirm the final rate with the provider before completing a transaction.
Published rates can change and may depend on branch, account, banknote condition and transaction size. Rankings compare published USD buying prices before fees; they do not guarantee the largest payout. Confirm the final quote with the provider. Promotional rates are kept separate from normal rates.
